•When I was a child, I often feel afraid and worried, I think there always has horrible things and bed people hide in the darkness and wait to hurt me and my family, so I imagined a lot of circles to wrap them on my body to gain a sense of security. These kinds of experiences inspired me to explore the relationship between security and insecurity. There are two ways for people to gain security, one is defense and the other attacks, I express these two states through “wrapping” and “sharpness”, and extract elements such as thorns and twists from them and combine them to reflect the form of my imaginary protective circle.
