•Clowns appear in various cultures like a discrete secret thread. They are absurd, and strive to show a state of abnormal exuberance on the stage, but they also extraordinarily elegiac and pathetic under the mask. The vulnerability wrapped under the shell of hilarity is the core of clowns which is also the reflection of human emotion. I mixed clowns’ double-sided characteristics through their facial expression, figure and costume features to express their dramatic and tragic life.
