Grandma's egg bag

The inspiration for the project cames from the egg bag my grandma made for me when I was a child
From childhood to the annual Dragon Boat Festival, grandma will pack zongzi, boiled tea eggs. The most special will make us an egg bag - a netted pocket. In Dragon Boat Festival that day, she will be boiled eggs in the inside, let us hang on the chest one day, the egg can't be broken, because between the children there is a game to be more than --" bump eggs ".
YoYo Zheng used finger weaving method to create the net, and recreate a fabric modification. All the wool is taken out from the old clothes, and the drapery is also left over from the time when she made the bag.

The Hair

MATERIALS: wool felt, cotton thread
The inspiration of this work form YoYo Zheng grandmother's hair. Her grandmother is 74 years old. Every time she came home, she saw that grandma's hair was getting whiter and older. She noticed that hair was an obvious sign of old age. Hair is a record of the gradual aging of a person.

Mix Experiment

MATERIALS: wool felt, cotton thread，paper
YoYo Zheng used a detergent to change the PH value of the wool felt to make it more cohesive, then sewed it with a paper towel, cotton thread. This textile will use in the following project.
